CYBERPUNCH RELEASES THE SINGLE IMMORTAN WAR

The track was inspired by Immortan Joe, from the Mad Max franchise, especially his obsession with legacy and succession. The song uses that universe as a metaphor for the human quest for immortality, whether through beliefs in an afterlife or through perpetuating wealth and power by subjugating the majority. The concept draws a direct parallel with the oligarchic structures inherited from colonial logic in countries like Brazil.

Musically, “Immortan War” combines the speed and weight of thrash metal, with influences from Megadeth and Sepultura, plus classic Iron Maiden-style heavy metal gallops.

The single also features electronic synths, low tones and a baritone vocal, creating a dark atmosphere typical of industrial metal. “The idea was to bring together aggression, speed and heaviness with a chorus that feels like an anthem and a breakdown built to set the mosh pit on fire,” says vocalist Netuno Balboa.

The song will be part of the debut album, Chromefall, due out in November.
