About the Band

Founded in August 2024, Cyberpunch is a heavy metal band from São Paulo that blends influences from NWOBHM, thrash metal and industrial.

With 15 shows under their belt, the band keeps expanding its presence in the underground scene while paving the way for the release of its debut album, CHROMEFALL, scheduled for November 13, 2026.

The members met through social media ads and held their first rehearsal without ever having met in person. Bringing together musicians from different generations and backgrounds, Cyberpunch has maintained an intense songwriting output, combining creativity and professionalism since its formation.

Influences

The influences of Cyberpunch's members span different branches of metal, with references such as Metallica in thrash metal, Iron Maiden in heavy metal, and Rammstein in industrial.

This diversity of influences merges into a sound of its own, marked by modern tones, aggression, melodic choruses and electronic synthesizers.

Every musical element is crafted to serve the theme of each song, creating atmospheres that transport the listener into the dystopian universe portrayed in the music.

Visuals

Cyberpunch's visual identity combines futuristic, industrial and dark elements, drawing on horror cinema and referencing the aesthetics of Hellraiser. Through costumes, masks and props, the band builds an atmosphere that evokes the post-apocalyptic universe portrayed in its lyrics. Together with the musicians' stage presence and theatricality, this aesthetic turns every performance into an immersive experience in which each song gets its own setting.
One of the central elements of the show is vocalist Netuno Balboa, who plays the character Caverox wearing a bionic mask. In the second half of the show, the mask is torn off in a theatrical scene involving fake blood, marking one of the most distinctive moments of the performance.

Themes and Songs

Cyberpunch's songs are built on three narrative layers.
The first sets the scene, exploring settings of war, science fiction, BDSM and horror, with plenty of epic elements. The second introduces social criticism, philosophical reflections and dilemmas of the contemporary world, using fiction as a tool to address real-world issues. And the third connects the songs through elements and clues that, together, form a saga unfolding across the debut album, CHROMEFALL.
Among the songs are "Immortan War", "Furiosa" and "Gas Town", which explore a post-apocalyptic universe inspired by the aesthetics of Mad Max.

Chromefall — The Debut Album

Cyberpunch currently has eight original songs, written collectively by the members, with lyrics by vocalist Netuno Balboa; seven of them will appear on the album.
These songs are already part of the live setlist, giving part of the audience the chance to hear them even before their studio versions.
The album was produced at Zomer Records Studio, with recording and production by Pedro Zomer. The band also has its own label, Caverox Records.

Live

Since December 2024, Cyberpunch has been performing in São Paulo and neighboring cities, establishing itself on the underground circuit.
Beyond its own shows, the band has already produced six festivals, bringing together guest artists from the independent scene. Its main annual event is Cyberfest, which has had two editions so far, held at La Iglesia and Burning House, gathering bands and fans from São Paulo's metal scene.

Cyberfest

Every year the band hosts its official festival, celebrating the band's anniversary with underground metal bands and attractions tied to the band's themes.

Releases

The band has already released two singles, "Riding Worms" and "Immortan War", and is preparing to release "Drowned" on September 30, 2026, along with a music video.
