Who We Are
Cyberpunch was founded in August 2024, with the goal of playing heavy metal with thrash and gothic influences. The band has many influences within metal, given the great diversity of musical tastes of each member, which in itself enriches the musicality of the work. The members met through announcements on social media and had their first rehearsal without ever having met in person before. With members of different ages and experiences, Cyberpunch quickly became a songwriting machine, in addition to being guided by above-average professionalism.

Influences
The band’s influences range from classics like Metallica and Iron Maiden, to more recent names like Rammstein, Ghost, Powerwolf, and Avenged Sevenfold, among many others.

Because of this, Cyberpunch’s sound has a weight similar to classic 80s thrash, but with melodies and even a certain epic vibe reminiscent of more melodic metal, and flirting with, as well as moments where a “darkness” and dramatic atmosphere is felt. It’s no coincidence that all the musicians involved like gothic music (post-punk, dark wave, etc.), a sound that is quite present in some songs.

Visual
Another striking characteristic of the band is their visually appealing performances and stage presence. For this, they use theatrical elements, props (accessories and accessories) with a steampunk look, providing an immersive experience in the post-apocalyptic scenario explored in the lyrics, and within each song there is a universe of its own. A central and prominent point is the visual aspect of the vocalist, Netuno, who wears a skull mask, portraying the character “Caverox, the Wasteland Skull,” which, from the middle of the show onwards, is ripped off, complete with a spurt of fake blood—an iconic scene that demonstrates the band’s theatricality.

Caverox, the frontman
Caverox is a character that the vocalist himself, Netuno, created when he was only 4 years old, and used to draw him. Almost 40 years later, he came to life on the Cyberpunch stage.

Lyrical themes
In their first work, the band addresses themes of science fiction and modern literature, set in a post-apocalyptic world of war and conflict. Good examples are works like “Dune” and “Mad Max,” but the influences go far beyond that. Furthermore, the lyrics aren’t about films or books per se, but rather metaphors for philosophical themes and contemporary problems: class struggle, colonialism, ecology, and nihilism. The emphasis is on the current geopolitics of the planet, something very present in the lyrics in a direct or allegorical way.

Chromefall, the debut album
The band currently has eight original compositions, which will be part of their debut album, Chromefall, scheduled for release in May 2026. Among the planned songs is the so-called “Mad Max Trilogy,” with three songs set within that universe.

Live
Since December 2024, the band has been performing several shows in São Paulo and neighboring cities, one of which was self-produced (Cyber ​​Fest 2025), playing for diverse audiences and in renowned venues such as La Iglesia, AN Rock Bar, Rockwheels, and Woodstock.

Future
After recording their first album, which is in an advanced stage, the band will produce music videos and tour the Greater São Paulo area, promoting their first work.
